The following video provides an overview of the mini polo program including highlights that demonstrate the benefits to swimming skills, deep-water comfort and endurance development. Claire Wright – won Gold at the PAN Am Games held in Porto Rico in August, with the Girls Youth (U17) National Team. Claire had a very appreciated performance, mainly in the final game vs. USA, stopping in the final quarter a few critical shots, including a 5m penalty. Canada won gold, winning the final vs. USA 7-6. Emma Wright – selected for the Junior (U20) Canadian National Team (Emma is 15 only) traveling to the World Championships in Trieste, Italy in September. Emma trained all summer with the team in Montreal. Good Luck! Dusan Radojcic - is selected for the U20 Canadian National Team traveling to the World Championships in Volos, Greece. Dusan, also trained all summer with the team in Montreal. Good Luck! Dusan is joining to the Senior National Team in Calgary after the Junior Worlds. Rebecca Wright was selected this summer for centralization with the U20 Canadian National Team. Rebecca is heading to California this days to play in NCAA. She is joining University of Pacific. Rony Gros – member of the Senior National Team program preparing for the Senior PanAm games, where Canada will attempt to earn a berth for the Sumer Olympics in London 2012. Adam Klc – selected to the U16 Canadian National Team, who is competing these days in Zrenjanin, Serbia and Istanbul, Turkey. Khalah Brown, Alina Statsenko and Daniel Statsenko were members of the Ontario Provincial Team and traveled to California in July. |
